4to 11" - 13" tall; Unpaginated pages; Dark blue covers with gilf lettering; wear along edges. Inside pages are clean with no tears; a few pages have corner fold marks. Library book with some library markings. From Forward: "... A volume of appreciation of Mr. And Mrs. John G. Hardin is being prepared. " In 1934, the Hardin's proposed the establishment of the Hardin Foundation for Wichita County, Texas, the income from which would be used in part to endow a Junior College (Hardin Junior College). Also, the Hardin's gave gifts to Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Amoung the grateful recipients of their gracious philanthropy are Baylor University Hospital and College of Medicine in Dallas and Baylor University in Waco. The Hardin's lived in Burkburnett, Texas.
